Engineers run the world …
Tesla was an engineer. Elon is an engineer. Einstein was an inventor. Tesla had once stated that the secret of invention is to be alone. He had also said that the secrets of the universe lie in the numbers 3,6 and 9. Nikola Tesla had once told that in order to understand the secrets of the universe one must think in terms of “energy, frequency and vibration”. Problem-solving is at the crux of an engineer’s approach. When you tackle problems through Brute Force methods and deliberate from First Principles, no obstacle is difficult to conquer.
Problems are meant to be solved. When humans first experimented by striking two rocks and discovered fire, an accident led to a fruitful endeavour.
There is no need to reinvent the wheel though. That job has been done by your ancestors. Gen Z has to look ahead with an inventor’s mindset and a discerning vision because they are constantly bombarded by agents of chaos in this attention-fragmenting economy. An entrepreneur’s vision is paradoxically borne in chaos. The solopreneur thrives in adversity. They fear the word ‘scientism’, not knowing that it can never be replaced. The world moves on. The galaxies keeps spinning. Inventions keep happening, for humanity has to look ahead in order to progress. How long will you stare at the rearview?
